Legalise ALL drugs

Now I've been working on a blog for the last month in regards to ending the War on Drugs and legalising the consumption and trade of all drugs. But my ability to write is alluding me at present and sitting for more than 10 minutes is just too painful.

So here is a blog that says exactly what I think - thanks Peter.

Ugh!

Sorry to hear the pain has still not subsided, Anna, and agree that legalisation is vital.

For one thing it will cut the crime rate by about 40% overnight.

Nightrider, legalising Murder and rape would drop the crime rate as well

I suppose it would, Maria, but what I was meaning is this...

A large percentage (not sure of the exact figure but think it is around 40%) of the prison inmates are in for drugs related offences.

The customers of these chaps know exactly what they are doing, (as does every smoker or alcohol drinker), so were drugs legalised you eliminate the 'crime' and therefore the level of crime.

I am personally against legalising murder or rape because the victims of that are unwitting (ie they are not expecting it to occur) whereas a 'victim' of a drugs dealer is usually a willing customer exposed to drugs education programmes in schools from an early age, television advertising and knows perfectly well what they are doing.

I MUST AGREE WITH NIGHT CITY TRADER ..WHY NOT LEGALIZE DRUGS? DEALERS DUE PAY TAXES ..JUST NOT TO THE STATE. THE STATE MAKES LAWS AND INSIDE THERE OWN LAWS THEY HAVE WAYS THEY PROFIT FROM IT

You know my view. It is ridiculous that those of us who live with chronic pain have to jump through insanely expensive and complicated and at times frustrating hoops to get what we need to manage our pain all because some people are stupid.
